Embrassing Game Confessions

you got some kind of really embrassing game confessions to admit? there's a game you love but it downright sucks? Maybe you like this one character that others don't? Well let's tell them to each other. And the only rule here is that you must not make fun of one another. :)

Mine:
1 - I often find myself attracted to female characters.

2 - I love the 3D sonic games, but not the old ones :confused:

3 - I hate very old retro games. :eek:

4 - Shadow the Hedgehog is my number 1 favourite game.

5 - I actually enjoyed playing Sonic the Hedgehog (360) to some extent...

6 - I really hate Grand Theft Auto.

I beat my first game when I was 3 years old, it was Yoshi's Island.

Oh, and I have played songs like Barbie Girl and Peanut Butter Jelly Time to games like Gears of War...Just for kicks. :D

I had to play the same level on Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones for 2 hours before realising all I had to do was climb on a box.

I have most of the Yugioh games and I like most of them (the gamecube one was terrible though and one or two of the GBA ones were poor like Destiny Board Traveler).

I never got a Nintendo 64 although i really liked playing it.

I wasn't into video games in the times of the SNES. :gasp:

I used to think that Mario sucked. :gasp: how could i live with myself...

You're on the same boat as me, most of it's best featured game franchises appear on the PC anyway so I'm certainly not ashamed by it and earnestly I don't have any embarrassing gaming confessions at all; I always check reviews and listen to the mouth of the internet to see if somethings are worth buying or not.

Have you unlocked the Cure magic on the License Board yet? That and the First Aid Technick works wonders if you're running low on potions. Just be sure to have them set as your first two Gambits. I'm pretty far into the game but took a break from FF12 to play Rogue Galaxy. Once you get the higher level white magicks you will hardly ever need potions again. How far are you into the game? If you need help planning out your License Board, i found this very helpful: http://faqs.ign.com/articles/746/746429p1.html

Speaking of FF12, when i first left Rabanastre into the Eastersand at the very begining of the game , i didn't have the Libra technick and went and engaged the T-Rex. I was slaughtered. :o

I beat pokemon snap and red at the age of 3 also at the age of 7 I beat FFVII

As for confessions...

1.I hate the Metroid series
2.I went to Pokemons 1st movie to get to get a mew plush doll
3.The Tv in my room is covered with pokemon and sonic plush dolls(which is wierd because recently I put an assassins creed poster behind it)
4. I can never beat SSBM so I always reset my file and say my 4 year old cousin did it

I have 2 SEGA genesis systems, just for playing my friends at Sonic 1 (see who can complete the game first).

My absolute fave DS game is Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles.

-I was probably the only person to buy the Ghost Rider (2007) game on PS2.
-I'm going to buy Hellboy: The Science of Evil and i'm going to enjoy it no matter what. I've been waiting so long for this game I don't even care if it sucks.

-I only got Super Smash Bros Melee in February this year, and I never played it after May.

I have 20 PS2 games I haven't touched yet.

I even have a PS1 game I haven't touched yet.

I own Sailor Moon plush dolls, Carcaptor Sakura keychains and a deck of the Clow Cards.

I bought a stack of 33 Master System games off ebay and never play them.

I actually enjoyed The Da Vinci Code game (for PC) and finished it.

I seem to be the only person in the Universe that owns and has finished both X Files games.

I hated GTA Vice City but all the others are great.

I spent years looking for a suitable AV unit for my TV, consoles, centre speaker ect... and never found one up to my standards and specification so I spent £220 having one custom built.

When they re-released the X Files series in the smaller/cheaper box sets, each one came with a token. When you had collected all 9 tokens you could get a very limited edition box to keep them all in. So in order to get one in time I bought seasons 7,8 & 9 together which cost me £86 (total X Files nerd)

-I rented Paper Mario Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario and got to the last level of each. And now I'll never beat them since it'd be pointless to rent them for one level.
-I love Sonic games. SA2B was amazing. I really liked SADX. Sonic Heroes wasn't THAT bad (I've been meaning to try it again).
-Though I HATED Shadow The Hedgehog
-I once rented Amazing Island for the Camecube...

-Never Played Metal Gear Solid
-Never Played Final Fantasy (Well played it once back on Ps1 but was to little to understand)

- I thoroughly enjoyed both Rumble Roses games.

- I had more fun with the Dead or Alive beach games, then I did with the fighting games.

- I hate ridiculously gigantic breasts on female video game characters.

- I have no interest in sports games unless the quirky and feature made up teams/players or from Japan.
Usually those are one in the same.

- I can be totally sold on a game based on it's art style and presentation. Even if I'm well aware that the actual game sucks.

- I paid $150 US dollars for the Japanese import of Radiant Silvergun for Sega Saturn a year ago.

I tend to boycott certain games that I believe have been done "lazily" ie games that have the PS3 version fucked over , games that get delayed for weeks/months for outside North America. I am not going to buy Rock Band because they delayed it a year for us. There is absolutely no excuse. I could understand a small delay due to manufacturing shortage, but when you develop and release the second iteration months BEFORE the original is released over here, that is when the companies are corrupt, greedy, money hungry, selfish, capitalist pigs. It pisses me off to NO end.

Also, while I'm here, I'd like to embarass myself:

I've yet to do anything more with Gears of War 2 other than play horde mode once with a few friends, yet I went out of my way to get it day of, as I neglected to pre-order. Even more disturbing, I purchased the lackluster FPS "Legendary" for 360 used at Gamespot for dirt a few days ago, (which says a lot, as the game has dropped to half of it's value in the same month as it's release), and have been more inclined to play that recently instead of...Gears of War 2.

With this statement, Allow me to open another can of worms on myself then.

I've grown to really dislike FF7 over the years. To no fault of Squaresoft's or the game's popularity, I hold the existence of FF7 responsible for destroying the traditional RPG. The game exploded onto the scene, and won the hearts of pretty much everyone who played video games, including those who didn't even know what the letters RPG stood for.

Since then, I can count the traditional RPGs I've played that didn't have 15+ hours of cut scenes and spoken dialouge mashed up with the actual "gameplay" on one hand.
