Scan Section Idea

Was thinking of this the other night, don't know if this has been put on the table here before but wanted to share the idea. How about a scan section? Something like the current resource section thus not combining with the normal box system. Since a lot of people often have no cover or have made a cover but basicly the same with a custom template. Like your from EU, but you want the US cover, just go to the archive and find the game and see if anyone has uploaded it and print, and you got the US cover or maybe if anyone has done it a PAL conversion of the cover, thus helping each other out in a lot of ways.
For instance, like i gave the custom template example, here's an example of this.

Now think the back with it since it's only an example but here you see the official COD4 cover, with a custom template, and maybe many more games with the template in order to print them for you game collection. Thus what i am saying here basicly is what about a section, like the resource section with scans, convertions and remakes. Personally i like the idea, it helps out the community in a very good way.

"Sudders" i remember MAV_WOLF (only just, but moreover, the shit box art reference and his name in the same sentence), the man had a strange drive to make the worst possible boxarts ever.

I don't mind the idea, but i always thought that's what the printable part was for. Either way, not a bad idea, but you may have some competition from http://www.cdcovers.cc/ as they have a pretty huge database of covers.

Was thinking it through more earlier about the idea and like mentioned before competition like CDCovers and The Cover Project, but hey, competition is healthy:p But it could also help to solve a lot of stuff that is now in the main box section, like remakes for example, like exact remakes that almost aren't seen as custom could be submitted in the new section, thus not fitting it in with the main box stream, but still helping out the community. And about the conversion idea i mentioned in the first post, here's a mock up of multiple games converted to the new template.

This way you could basicly start a custom collection, like for instance this way you could technicly make some sort of criterion collection, but for games, and when someone goes online they can print the covers for they're favourite games, if they're uploaded and can start they're favourite collection, if you get what i mean.
