It's been confirmed what the Halo Forerunners look like!!

My friend's brother works for Microsoft and in the next xbox360 mag they are releasing what the forerunners look like, they are going to play a huge part in Halo 3. I have a sneak peak look at what the forerunners look like!! Take a look!!

Aparently, and this is just what I heard, they were hidden underneath the ground of all 7 Halos waiting for the right time to come out. Aparently, every time Master Chief dies in the Halo games, it is totally canon. They have the ability to bring things back to life and teleport them to aproximately 30 seconds ago.

Also, the forerunners which live in Alpha Halo also produce indestructable vehicles, and everytime one falls off a cliff it is teleported to where it began. Unfortunately the first ability is exclusive to forerunners on Alpha Halo, all other vehicles on Beta Halo etc are destructable.

Also, Alpha halo has an electrical magnetic pulse which blocks rocket launchers from using lock-on. Alpha halo also has a unique gravitational pull unlike anything else in the universe. Falling actually damages people! In real life falling doesn't hurt but it does on Alpha halo for some reason.

There is also a unique cival war going on on all of the Halos between a species divided by racism. Reds and Blues fight an ongoing war because they can't accept each other's skin colour. They are unique because to eat food they must eat flags of the other team's colour. They also have some sort of skull fetish.

I've got to admit, I'm disappointed.
There is a major plot hole in this reveal, the forerunners should be wearing some kind of artificial powered exoskeleton to protect themselves from radioactive damage that could be inflicted by Covenant, The Flood or even Brutes.

Or maybe I'm wrong and infact their sheer mana defense protects them from anything and if Master Chief has to fight them, he has sure got a problem.
