I'd rather not have Run & Gun. It'll get confusing and it would take out a very important factor of RE, Tensity.

this Resident Evil is one I actually want. Sounds amazing and from the gameplay previews I have seen in the past few weeks, all I can say is HOLY CRAP I WANT IT. :)

Well, REs 1-3 will always be the best in gameplay. That's why they will be my only favorite ones. My list:

Yes, it does have "run and gun," but it's an extra controller setting you have to set up. It's not default... or at least i'm 99% sure I read that before.

Well...I was really tempted to reserve it at Gamestop when I picked up my copy of Killzone 2 today.

But now that I think about it, I'll probably just end up renting it.

I think the off/online co-op modes are the only things that can convince me to actually buy it.

I own copies of the first 4 games (and code veronica X) and it's really just a money issue why I'm opting for a rent this time around - I've been spending too much money on games lately.

Very excited for RE5. Preordered the collector's with all the extra stuff, and I usually never do that. :)

I actually think part 4 has been absolutely the best so far gameplay wise. The mechanics in parts 0 through CV worked well enough because we were use to them, but your character controlled like a freaking battle tank, and after experiencing the ingenious play dynamic of part 4, I can personally say I hope to never play an RE that controls like the older games again.

Me and my friend have already planned we are going to spend the WHOLE weekend (13th-16th) doing online co-op together! Its amazing because she usually hates games like this but she was converted after I forced her to download the demo :p
