It's definitely OS X, OS X Mountain Lion to be more precise. You can tell by the icons on the upper right, particularly the one all the way in the corner, the notification bar icon. The bar is inverted though, but i know there's an application for that. As for the font, you are correct. No question it's OS X.

Yeah, it's Mac. I used Geektool to get the Time on my Desktop, and DragThing to get that Dropdown menu under the Task Bar.

That's interesting, how did you do that with the mountains?

Took the wallpaper to photoshop, cut out the sky, save as png, put png in skin code, over the clock, move in position, boom, clock in/behind mountains.
