Am I the only one who really has a thing for a really pretty, natural, open background? Maybe it's just because my screen is so amazing that it'd be a crime not to sport a desktop which takes full advantage of it's vibrant colours and extremely high resolution (the screen is 17" and it's resolution is 1920 x 1200. Come on, it's gorgeous).

Maybe when all of you upgrade to a Mac, you'll understand ;)

You cannot literally increase the speed of your Firefox, unless you have a variable internet connection with different speeds, which alas is pretty stupid. All this "hack" does is clear up cache allowing Firefox to be a millisecond faster and hence making the browser more unreliable and more prone to failure.

What program/s are you using?

Well I'm using ObjectDock (http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/) on the bottom and the rest is all gadgets. ObjectDock is made by StarDock (http://stardock.com/), which makes a LOT of programs that alow you to change Window's appearance. Windowblinds (http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/) is another really cool program, I'm using it now to make my PC look like a MAC lol. You can also get programs to edit boot and logon screens.

It's a Yahoo Widget, it's called Neon Clock, you can customize the colors and what not. i really like it, but if you set and alarm with a song it will loop like the first 10 seconds of it :\

OSX's formerly most identifiable feature was it's dock. Now with W7's BLATANT rip off I sometimes confuse W7 with OSX for a brief second until I take a close look, notice how ugly the W7 version is compared to my beautiful OSX and it's like "Oh, right.. >___>"

You can get most Windows programs working on Linux. I knew a guy who had the same OS as me and a lot of Games for Windows games running on it. But if I can't figure out how to do that I'll just partition my HDD.
