So a band makes one average album after two brilliant albums and they are "dead" all of a sudden?
Wow.... Linkin Park are better off without fans like you to be honest =/

No, they completely changed themselves on that album. I found only two songs similar to their old ones, "Bleed It Out" and "Given Up".

I'm gonna have to agree there...I actually really liked M2M...just not as much as the others, IMO.

@ Halfswiss^ : don't forget No More Sorrow. I love that song.

I agree on both the points you made.
Minutes To Midnight wasn't a bad album as such.... just disappointing compared to the brilliance of their other albums. And why does it matter if a band changes their sound for one album? If they want to try something new then I say good luck to them!

Exactly! You have NO IDEA how many people I've tried to tell that to.

In all honestly the songs on the first two ran together. But I still find myself singing a random song off those and wondering what the hell it is :p But I'd rather have them keep their original sound them turn experimental-alt. They were due for a change but not that drastic :-\

They turned me off with that album, to be honest.
