Sonic for the 360 flat-out sucks.

So i got a chance to play it for the first time for about half an hour at Gamestop. At start, the game looked fine. But the controls were clunky, the framerate slipped (even on Gamestop's HDTV), and the story didin't make any sense. For me, a sonic fan since playing it on the genesis and 32X, this game was underwhelming.

For those of you planning to get it: don't.

How about you go to H*** ok let people say if they like it or not were do you get off making a thread saying sonic sucks ok let the people who buy the game choose if it suck or not and to get the story right you have to play all the 3D or 2.5D sonic games so let people who buy the came choose and if they dont like or do like it you dont have to post a thread aboout it ok..............................................OK !!!!!!!!

I played the real game, and i didn't care for it either. I really think Sega needs to go back to making 2D sonic games. Make it like The New Super Mario Brothers. That would be cool.:cool:

Ya I know...The 360/PS3 version suck...And I'm a Huge Sonic Fan saying that.
Your Right RB, If Sega make a Retro Sonic game for the Wii or DS, it would be awesome. But they did make a game like NSMB, Sonic Rush. (3D, with 2D graphics)
Now I only hope that Sonic and Secret Ring will be a great 3d game for the Wii, so that sega will a other GOOD/GREAT Sonic game. (the other two are Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast...not the weak remakes for the gamecube, Those DC Games were awesome)

Heh, you could be right, but Sonic 360 was'nt...what i was expecting, i felt no Sonic magic like i did with SA2, god that game ruled, probably the only best 3D Sonic IMO.

aww i DESPERATELY wanted this game. i was going to get a 360 just for it (and dead rising, possibly halo 3) because i'm was so excited since the first trailer. which character did you play as? i can understand you don't like sonic because i know he's meant to be really fast and all but he keeps falling off the edge and stuff.
silver is TOO BLOODY SLOW!!!!
i know he runs about as fast as amy from sonic adventure (you can't bare to see how slow that was) but i hear shadow has been greatly improved. His vehicles are meant to have better controls, he himself is easy to manouvre, and his levels are nice and fun, kicks sonic's ass.
I could imagine you maybe didn't get to play as shadow at the gamespot thing wherever you where, most of of the time you check out sonic and silver.

i am getting this game anyway. hey shadow the hedgehog i thought it ROCKED (yeah that's right) but people gave it measly 4/10s and stuff. gametrailers gave shadow an 8.3/10, which really put a smile on my face.

i don't care, i'll get sonic the hedgehog anyway.


btw, sonic and the secret rings looks SO BORING. i know everyone says its great and all but it's just sonic running about, nothing interesting really heppens. the name sucks anyway.

I played as Sonic. Yeah RB, I remember the SA games, they were the last good ones. Oh, and its called an opinion. You flame someone for having one and not liking sonic?
